Criticism
-       No remarkable distinction of style
-       Her plots, though worked out with microscopic delicacy, are neither original nor striking;
-       Incident is almost absent
-       Repeats situations and characters

-       Does not analyze by logic what she knows by intuition
o   No grounds of motive, nor cares to illumine them
-       No construction of characters

o   Could Mr. Bennet have handled his family’s situation differently or was it all set in stone?

o   How are the Bingley’s affected by it?

o   How does trade affect position in society?
o   What makes one a gentleman?
o   Are Bingley, Darcy, Mr. Bennet and Wickham all gentlemen? Compare and Contrast them.
o   What are your opinions on the above men so far?
-       Balls and dancing
o   How does the society/town around the area affect the way a ball is held?
o   What are balls for?
o   Why will Darcy not dance?
